Welcome to the world of Quality Assurance (QA)<\/strong>. Let’s understand why it is necessary to test a product or software, and discuss basic concepts in Quality Assurance. To do this, it is important to understand the difference between Quality Assurance<\/em> (QA<\/strong>) and Quality Control<\/em> (QC<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

What is Quality Assurance – QA?<\/h3>\n

  • It involves identifying defects throughout the entire product development process.<\/li>\n
  • Reporting defects to the development team in a polite manner. To facilitate this, there is a system called Jira, where defects can be reported.<\/li>\n
  • Quality Assurance essentially checks if customer requirements are met throughout the entire product development process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What is Quality Control – QC?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Quality control checks the product at a specific point in time and not throughout the entire development process. For example, a sample of the products is taken and their quality is assessed at the end of the development process.<\/p>\n

    Testing process<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    First level – a testing process where the emphasis is solely on the tests.<\/p>\n

    • Find bugs during product development.<\/li>\n
    • Report the bugs to the development team in a polite manner. For this purpose, there is a system called Jira where bugs can be reported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
